Elizabeth Solazzo is a writer living in the Piedmont of North Carolina. She is a wife, mother and grandmother who is retired from Alamance Community College where she was the Director of Student Financial Aid. A caregiver to her husband, Tony, and sometimes youngest grandchildren.

She is an author who enjoys writing about relationship and family issues. Elizabeth has been published at The Times News, Alamance Magazine, The Saturday Evening Post and Bride and Groom Magazine, along with many other local and regional print and online markets. She has published two books of memoir titled A Little Book of Stories and Saxapahaw Girl. Her latest publication is a book of short stories called, Chasing the Wind. She calls these stories of love and loss and mostly happy endings. Currently at work on a nonfiction book about the mill village of Saxapahaw, this will be a study centered around the history of a small mill village in North Carolina that has been transformed into a trendy artistic community with the addition of restaurants, coffee shops and art galleries.


Here are some elbows I’ve brushed against recently, hoping the magic will rub off. I think it may have happened but you’ll be the judge when you read my new novel!
