This is book two of a three book series called Uncommon Justice, all featuring one of the McKade brothers. This is the second book and features Heath McKade and our heroine is Harper Reynolds. This series does not need to be read in order as they are all independent stories, although now I must find time to read the other two as well.
I started reading this book because I was doing research on hooks and started looking at the books I had in my TBR stack, intending to just look at the beginnings of a few. The book had such a great hook, it sucked me right in although I had a kindle book I was currently reading and another I was listening to on Audible. Those had to briefly take a back-seat.
This is called romantic suspense. I had forgotton how much I enjoy this genre but this book reminded me. And I was pleasantly surprised to see that this author has been around for a while since she has 40 published books. Wow. I can’t even imagine.
